Conor McGregor criticized Islam Makhachev’s leadership in the P4P ranking
Irish mixed style (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor criticized the leadership of Russian Islam Makhachev in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ranking, regardless of weight categories (P4P). The athlete spoke out on his page on the social network X, but later deleted the publication.
“Knocked out unconscious and caught on steroids. Current #1 in P4P rankings in MMA. What a sport,” McGregor said.
Makhachev topped the ranking of the best fighters earlier on November 7. He displaced the heavyweight belt holder, American Jon Jones, from first place.
On October 21, Makhachev defended his UFC lightweight title for the second time. The Russian athlete knocked out Australian Alexander Volkanovski in the first round.
In total, the 32-year-old Russian had 26 fights in his career, in which he won 25 victories and was defeated only once.
