There are already 17 bronze medals won by the Ecuadorian national team at the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023. Tricolor Gabriela Vargas Sarmiento took third place in the 10,000-meter speed skating elimination, which took place at the Patinodrome of the National Stadium sports complex.
This Sunday, when the Games will close, Vargas achieved a time of 17 minutes, 47 seconds and 638 thousandths.
Gold was won by Colombian Fabriana Arias with a time of 17:46:877, and silver went to another coffee shopper, Gabriela Rueda, who clocked 17:47:448.
Vargas took silver in the 1000 meters yesterday sprint in this sports scenario before the Rueda coffee machine, which took the gold. (D)
