UFC chief White said ten rounds between Ngannou and Fury are crazy
The head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White spoke about the fight between former promotion champion Francis Ngannou and boxer Tyson Fury. His words are quoted by MMA Fighting.
“The fact that he went ten rounds against Tyson Fury is crazy. I didn’t see the fight, but the fact that he went ten rounds is just incredible,” White said.
On October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou in a heavyweight boxing bout in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all ten rounds, following which the judges gave Fury victory by split decision.
Ngannou has 17 wins and 3 losses in mixed martial arts throughout his career. He held the UFC heavyweight championship.
Fury has 34 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
