All participants in the Russian Football Cup playoffs for the 2023/2024 season have been determined. This was reported in the tournament’s Telegram channel.
Moscow’s Dynamo, Lokomotiv, Spartak and CSKA, as well as Kaliningrad’s Baltika, St. Petersburg’s Zenit, Rostov and Orenburg reached the playoffs of the RPL tournament. Eight more teams advanced to the quarter finals of the regional playoffs.
The draw will take place on November 3 and will begin at 12:00 Moscow time. The first matches of the Russian Cup playoffs will take place on November 28-30.
On November 1, Dynamo defeated Paris Nizhny Novgorod and advanced from second place in Group D to the playoffs of the tournament. In addition, CSKA Moscow, thanks to a brace from striker Fedor Chalov, defeated Orenburg and advanced to the next round of the tournament from first place.
The current holder of the Russian Cup is CSKA. In the final, the team turned out to be stronger than Krasnodar in the penalty shootout.
