He Maccabi PlaytikaTel Aviv will play their matches Euroleague as a venue in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade, as decided this Tuesday at a meeting held in Istanbul by the shareholders of the top continental competition. The first match that the Israeli team will play in the Serbian capital will be on November 9 against Bayern Munich, while the matchday six clash against Real Madrid, initially scheduled for November 2, is suspended and will be played on a date later. Baskonia will travel to Belgrade on December 19, to play against Maccabi.

Maccabi has received the support of the Belgrade City Council and the Serbian Government, with whom it will begin conversations to plan the necessary security measures to protect the integrity of all the people who make up its expedition.

In addition, the Euroleague has asked Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv to present an alternative venue located outside of Israel to host its upcoming Euro Cup home games.
