Coach Petrova advised doing crunches to improve the condition of the back
Fitness trainer Anastasia Petrova, in a conversation with Lenta.ru, recommended a set of exercises that can be performed to improve the condition of the back muscles.
The specialist explained that many people experience back problems that arise due to sedentary work, a sedentary lifestyle or age-related changes. To combat this problem, you should do several small exercises in your free time.

The first exercise that the expert suggested doing was crunches in a standing position. Starting position: arms extended to the sides in one line, palms down. “Maintaining the position of the pelvis and stretching the top of the head up, as you exhale, we begin to twist the body to one side. At the same time, the arms remain on the same line, rotation is only in the spine. We align and repeat in the other direction,” Petrova described the correct technique.
The starting position for the next exercise is to tilt the body, resting your hands on your hips, knees slightly bent. As you exhale, we round your back, pulling your chin towards your chest, and as you inhale, bend your spine. The trainer noted that it is important to perform the movements gently and without jerking.
Then Petrova advised clasping your hands in front of you, rounding your back and stretching forward parallel to the floor, while the pelvis should be twisted and stabilized, and the buttocks should be tucked. “We begin to make movements with a lock from our hands in the form of an infinity sign, first in one direction and then in the other. The fitness trainer recommended a simple set of exercises for a healthy back,” the trainer explained.
Previously, Petrova suggested several more exercises to maintain back health. She recommended doing side bends and simulating archery.
