Internet scammers stole almost a million rubles from Russian synchronized skating world champion Anna Shkurdai. This was reported in the Shot Telegram channel.
According to the source, the 25-year-old athlete began performing tasks on the Internet, for which she was promised to receive sums of money. Allegedly, she needed to book hotels for tourists, for which she was refunded. After several bookings, the scammers stopped contacting us.
The total damage amounted to 700 thousand rubles. Shkurdai contacted the police, law enforcement agencies have already begun an investigation.
Shkurdai is a three-time world champion in synchronized skating. She also has several victories at Russian championships, All-Russian and international competitions under the auspices of the International Skating Union.
