MMA fighter Khamzat Chimaev said he spends his prize money to help the homeless

Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Khamzat Chimaev, representing the United Arab Emirates (UAE), told how he will spend the prize money for his victory over American Kamaru Usman at UFC 294. His words are quoted by ESPN MMA.

The athlete said that there is a lot of money in MMA, emphasizing that he appreciates the support of the leadership of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). “I have already built a gym and helped many homeless people. This is money – it helps not only me, but also other people,” he shared the details.

The middleweight bout between Chimaev and Usman took place on October 21 in Abu Dhabi. It ended in three rounds with Chimaev winning by majority decision (29-27, 29-27, 28-28).

Chimaev had 13 fights in his professional career without suffering a single defeat. Usman now has 20 wins and four losses.
