Kanchelskis entered the top 100 best players in Premier League history according to FourFourTwo
Former footballer of the Russian national team and Manchester United Andrei Kanchelskis entered the top 100 best players in the history of the English Premier League (EPL). FourFourTwo magazine presented its version of the rating on the website.
Kanchelskis, the only Russian on the list, was in 99th place. He beat ex-Liverpool, Tottenham and Stoke City forward Peter Crouch.
The top three included Thierry Henry, who defended the colors of Arsenal, Cristiano Ronaldo, who played for Manchester United, and Alan Shearer, who played for Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle.
Kanchelskis played for Manchester United from 1991 to 1995. As part of the club, the midfielder became the champion of England twice – in the 1992/1993 and 1993/1994 seasons. He was also recognized by Mancunian fans as the best player of the season. In addition, in England, the midfielder played for Everton (from 1995 to 1997), Manchester City (2001) and Southampton (2002 to 2003).
