Alexander Kerzhakov said that he receives 2 thousand dollars from the Serbian Spartak
The head coach of the Serbian Spartak, Alexander Kerzhakov, announced his salary. Sport Express reports this.
According to a Russian specialist, he receives about 2 thousand dollars a month. “My salary is several times less than in Nizhny Novgorod. I think that’s what second league coaches get paid. Maybe in the lower half of the first – I don’t know what the salaries are now,” Kerzhakov noted.
The coach added that the money is paid on time. “As for the players, we have several players who are in the starting lineup and receive less than the players in the Russian media league,” Kerzhakov said.
Kerzhakov is a three-time Russian champion with Zenit. After retiring in 2017, he coached the Russian youth team, as well as the clubs Tom, Nizhny Novgorod and the Cypriot Karmiotissa, which he left two months after starting work. Since June of his year, he has been heading Spartak from the Serbian Subotica.
