Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar are among the three highest paid football players in the world
Forbes magazine presented a ranking of the highest paid football players in the world in 2023. The list of athletes is presented on the publication’s website.
The ranking was topped by the Portuguese striker of the Saudi Al-Nasr team, Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the publication, in 2023 the forward earned a total of $260 million, $200 million of which comes from salary and bonuses and another 60 million from sponsorship payments.
In second place is Argentine striker Inter Miami Lionel Messi. Its profit for the year is estimated at $135 million. The top three was completed by Brazilian forward Al-Hilal Neymar, who earned $112 million in 2023.
Ronaldo joined the Al-Nasr squad on December 30, 2022. In total, he played 30 matches for the Saudi team, scoring 25 goals and providing eight assists.
