Russian Kuzyaev said that he took a pay cut to play in Le Havre
Russian midfielder of the French Le Havre Daler Kuzyaev spoke about the salary in the European club. His words are quoted by the Championship.
“Indeed, we had to take a salary cut. I do not deny this fact,” said the football player. However, he did not give specific numbers, considering this to be incorrect in relation to the club.
30-year-old Kuzyaev moved to Le Havre on July 12. The agreement with the Russian is for two years. At the moment, he has played eight matches in the French championship, in which he scored two goals.
In the 2022/2023 season, Kuzyaev played for Zenit St. Petersburg; his contract with the club expired at the end of June. The midfielder has played for the blue-white-blues since 2017. Together with the team, he became the champion of Russia five times, took the country’s Cup and won the Super Cup twice.
