Riley Sheehanthe American cyclist on trial with the team Israel-Premier Techhas won the victory of the classic Paris-Toursby imposing his top speed in the sprint with which the 117th edition of the race has been resolved.
With a time of 4 hours, 39 minutes and 6 secondsthe 23-year-old American runner has won this 213.5-kilometer French classic, held between the French towns of Chartres and Tours.
Sheehan, in a tight mass sprint, reached the finish line ahead of the Briton Lewys Askey (Groupama-FDJ) and Norwegian Tobias Johannessen (Uno-X Pro Cycling).
