Scientist Mansfeldt: sports should not replace daily activity
Scientists at the University of Copenhagen have identified the dependence of daily activity on sports. One of its authors, Julie Marvel Mansfeldt, spoke to FoxNews about the results of the study.
The study found that people who are active in exercise are more likely to neglect everyday activities, such as climbing the stairs or walking the dog. As a result, those who want to lose weight lose less weight than they planned.
Mansfeldt noted that sports should not completely replace daily activity, but complement it. She added that to improve performance, you need to choose balanced and enjoyable workouts and other activities.
Earlier, fitness trainer Yanina Kolpakova named ways to force yourself to go to the gym. She suggested taking up a new type of physical activity and finding company among friends.
