The International Football Federation (FIFA) will take into account the friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Kenya in the ranking. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the communications service of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
“Each team will be able to make no more than five substitutions. Another reshuffle will be allowed if one of the players is suspected of having a concussion,” the RFU added.
The national teams of Russia and Kenya will play a friendly match on October 16. Four days earlier, a meeting was scheduled against Cameroon in Moscow.
On September 11, the Russian team lost 1:2 to the Olympic team of Egypt in a friendly match. On September 12, the team drew with Qatar – 1:1.
On February 28, 2022, FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) excluded Russian national teams and clubs from international tournaments. Teams do not compete in European competitions, and the Russian national team has lost the opportunity to fight for access to the final part of the 2022 World Cup.
