Barcelona striker Lamin Yamal left his team shorthanded for almost ten minutes during the second round of the Champions League group stage match against Porto. Marca reports.

In the 71st minute of the match, the 16-year-old football player felt unwell and ran off the field to the locker room to go to the toilet, but was unable to return and continue the game. He was replaced by Marcos Alonso in the 80th minute.

“He told me for some time that he felt bad, that he was unwell and that his stomach hurt,” Catalan coach Xavi revealed the details of what happened. The specialist added that the team had to “suffer with ten of them.”

The meeting between Barcelona and Porto took place in Portugal on October 4. The match ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the guests. Yamal became the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to be included in the starting lineup.
