Belarusian defenseman of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings team Yegor Romanov was arrested during a break in a North American Hockey League (NAHL) match. The Tribune Democrat reports.
According to the source, the arrest occurred during an away match in Johnstown on October 1. It is noted that the 20-year-old hockey player was arrested in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant, which was issued two years ago when he played for the Esmark Stars junior club. Romanov was charged with aggravated hit-and-run.
The Belarusian defender moved to New Hampshire in the summer of 2023. He played four matches with the team.
