Russian boxer Sergei Kovalev, who lives in the United States, had his Mercedes stolen
Russian boxer Sergei Kovalev, living in the United States, had his car stolen. He announced this on Instagram (the social network is prohibited in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned).
On October 1, the athlete published a video in which he showed his fleet of four cars. A few hours later, Kovalev said that one of his cars, a Mercedes G-Class, was stolen.
“Our morning is not exactly good today. All the cars are there, but one is missing. The car was stopped last night. But it’s okay, we’ll look,” he shared. Kovalev added that he tried to find the car using GPS, but the criminals got rid of the tracker.
Kovalev is a former World Boxing Association (WBA Super), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) light heavyweight champion. In total, the 40-year-old athlete has 35 victories, 29 of which by knockout, and four defeats. One match involving a Russian ended in a draw.
