The coach called for giving up three types of street activities in winter

Fitness trainer Butova urged to give up yoga, running and swimming outside in winter

Fitness trainer Svetlana Butova named types of street activities that should not be done in winter. Her words are reported by Sport Express.

The expert urged beginners to stop jogging. “Due to a low level of preparedness, the body may not be able to cope with the load combined with sub-zero temperatures. An unprepared respiratory system can be susceptible to respiratory diseases,” she explained.

The specialist also suggested moving yoga training from the street to the hall. She noted that static poses are often used during classes, which can cause the body to quickly become hypothermic.

In addition, Butova strongly recommended avoiding swimming in open pools and reservoirs. “Due to cold water, an unprepared person can experience a sharp spasm, which negatively affects their health,” the trainer emphasized.

Earlier, doctor Ramil Shakhveledov and director of the State Sports Museum Elena Istyagina-Eliseeva gave recommendations on preparing for outdoor training. Experts advised using breathable clothing and making a lesson plan.
