The Basaurian actress Itziar Ituño has been named ambassador for the 125th anniversary of Athletic Club in the month of October. A native of the Kareaga neighborhood, he was born on June 19, 1974, so he belongs to that generation that was marked by the titles of the eighties and, especially, the symbolism of the barge.

Itziar remembers how “I went with my teacher by bus, we got to Bailén Street and from there we saw all the crowds, it was very exciting.”

Ituño received the insignia and recognition from the president, Jon Uriarte, and Jose Angel Iribar during the match between Athletic Club and Getafe CF on September 27 in San Mamés.

The actress joins Jon Rahm, Jokin Altuna, Honey Tahljieh, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Marino Lejarreta and Joane Somarriba -representing the Basque fans and cycling-, María Arthuer, Juan Villoro, Txus Vidorreta and Julián López on the list of Athletic Club ambassadors during its 125th anniversary.
