Połomski’s manager inherited his apartment. What did she do with the souvenirs he had collected there?

Although a year will soon have passed since Jerzy Połomski’s death, many are still concerned about his considerable fortune. The childless artist left all his possessions to his manager, Violetta Lewandowska. What happened to the souvenirs and works of art that he had collected in his Warsaw apartment for many years?

It’s hard to believe that November 14, 2023 will be the first anniversary of the death of one of the most outstanding singers on the Polish stage. However, the last years of his life were not kind to him.

He transferred the property to the manager. In return, she was to provide him with lifelong care

Violetta Lewandowska was the only person with whom he maintained constant contact. First, she managed his career, and later, when he became ill, she took care of him. Ultimately, he decided to leave his entire fortune and artistic legacy to her in exchange for lifelong help and support. However, his condition soon deteriorated significantly. When he began to require 24-hour care, in July 2021 the manager placed him in a hospital, where he died just over a year later. Then, in accordance with the applicable contract, his life’s achievements, including an over 100-square-meter apartment in Warsaw’s Mokotów district worth over PLN 2 million along with many valuable souvenirs, were taken over by Lewandowska.

She inherited the estate from Jerzy Połomski. What happened to his memorabilia?

Although the media was full of rumors, Lewandowska did not speak on the matter. She openly admitted that she had taken over , but did not want to comment on this situation in the press, arguing that it was a privacy matter that she did not intend to share. Eventually, the matter went quiet and perhaps it would not have become the subject of public debate again if it were not for the fact that one of the singer’s properties was recently sold. We are talking about a summer house that came into the possession of Krzysztof Miruć, a popular interior designer in show business, who became famous for hosting popular television programs, including: “Report renovation”.

However, it is not known what happened to all the souvenirs and works of art that the artist collected in his Warsaw apartment. They have been sold? Or maybe they will go to a museum? The portal contacted Lewandowska on this matter to obtain any information from a reliable source. However, the answer was short and enigmatic, and therefore did not bring the expected answer. – You are asking about private matters and I am not going to answer your questions – the late artist’s manager replied bluntly. In this matter, the director of the House of Artists in Skolimów, Ewa Jagieło, was also contacted, as well as the directors of ZASP, Andrzej Gajewski and Bogumiła Grzesowiczak-Choińska, but this time the questions remained unanswered.
