Athletic reduces the ‘structural deficit’ by 16.6 million and calls its meeting for October 31

Last season, Athletic Club reduced its “structural deficit” by 16.6 million euros and closed the 2022-2023 financial year “without losses” after having increased revenue by 9.8 million compared to the previous year, according to the economic balance that the board of directors will present next October 31 at the General Assembly of delegated partners.
It is pointed out that the use of provision “has been 5.7 million euros less than expected” (21.5 for the 27.2 budgeted) and that Athletic’s “net worth” as of June 30, 2023 amounts to 105.4 million euroswhich represents “an increase of 2 million compared to the previous year.”
On the other hand, the Budget for the 2023-2024 season amounts to 133.6 million euros in the expenses chapter and 128.7 million in incomewhich generate a negative operating result of 4.9 million, and contemplates a application of provisions of 16.6 million4.8 million less than in 2022-23.
The objective of the directive for the next financial year is to once again complete an economic balance without losses.
