Russian football player complained about wages at the Norwegian club

Footballer Gorodovoy said that he received a salary in Norway like a cashier

Russian football player Alexey Gorodovoy spoke about the salary in the Norwegian club Kongsvinger. His words are quoted by Sport24.

The athlete shared that he received about 90 thousand rubles after taxes – as a cashier in a local store. “I don’t want to devalue anyone, but I can sit at the cash register if they train me a little. But the cashier will not be able to play football at a high level,” complained Gorodovoy. He added that he does not understand why the salaries of salesmen and athletes are equal.

The policeman played for Kongsvinger from 2017 to 2019. As part of the team, he played 29 matches in all tournaments. Currently the goalkeeper plays for Rodina Moscow.

Earlier, Denis Glushakov spoke about the salaries of football players. The athlete appealed to those who considered the players’ salaries to be too high and suggested that they go and earn money by playing football. “Our work is a lot of work. I wouldn’t say that we get undeservedly,” he explained.
