Ager Solabarrieta wins his second gold at the Paralympic Shooting World Cup

The Basque shooter Ager Solabarrieta This Monday he achieved his second gold medal in the Paralympic Shooting World Championship which is being held in Lima after winning the 10-meter rifle standing modality for people with visual disabilities.

The Ondarutarra athlete from Basque Team Last Friday he reissued his world title in the laying modality, and 72 hours later, he dominated his second test in which he entered the final after achieving a world record with 579.6 points in the qualifying round.

In the final tie, the Biscayan, accompanied as a guide by his wife Maite Badiolashowed her accuracy in the last shots, one of which went to the center of the target, scoring 10.7 points, which allowed her to distance herself from her rivals and end up taking the gold ahead of the Polish Barbara Moskalwith the Croatian Fran Skračić keeping the bronze.

“I am super excited, there are no words to describe this moment; I was thinking of doing something great and we have worked hard for this, but winning the two world championships was not even in my wildest dreams,” said Solabarrieta in statements provided by ONCE.
