Spartak said that Promes has no problems with the Russian police
Spartak responded to information that the club’s legionnaire Quincy Promes caused a scandal at the police department in Moscow. RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Red-White press service, Dmitry Zelenov, as saying.
Zelenov said that Promes has no problems with the Russian police. “The video in question is from a year ago. Then Quincy really came to find out what happened to his comrades. And in this video no illegal actions are visible, nothing is clearly heard,” he emphasized.
Earlier on Monday, September 25, Mash published a message that a foreign football player was indignant and expressed complaints to law enforcement officers after learning about the detention of his friends. It was noted that Promes’ friends were suspected of drug use, and the footballer offered a bribe and begged to release his comrades.
Promes returned to Spartak in February 2021. Before that, he played for the red and white from 2014 to 2018, becoming the champion of Russia and the winner of the country’s Super Cup with the team.
