Russian forward of the Minnesota Wild Kirill Kaprizov shared his expectations for the upcoming season of the National Hockey League (NHL). His words are quoted by the Star Tribune.
Kaprizov called the club’s goal for the 2023/2024 season to reach the playoffs. “I’m going to show up and do my best. I expect the team to do the same and show the best we are capable of. This is what I expect from myself and from the team,” he said.
Previously, the Daily Faceoff portal included Kaprizov in the list of contenders for the Maurice Richard Trophy, an award awarded annually to the best sniper of the league’s regular season. The Russian is located on the tenth line.
In the 2022/2023 season, Kaprizov played 67 matches in the regular season, in which he scored 75 points, scored 40 goals and gave 35 assists.
