UFC veteran expressed readiness to fight with Chimaev

American welterweight fighter, veteran of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) Neil Magni again challenged Khamzat Chimaev to a duel. He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel MMAFightingonSBN.

“Man, I’m here. Let’s have a fight, ”Magni said. The American noted that back in 2020 he agreed to a fight with Chimaev, who at that time was not included in the UFC rating.

Magni admitted that he had not previously taken Chimaev seriously. But the American changed his mind about his opponent after his fight with Chinese Li Jingliang in October 2021, when a Chechen-born Swede forced his opponent to surrender in the first round.

Earlier, Conor McGregor became interested in the fight against Chimaev. The Irishman admitted that the Swede could become his first rival after returning to the octagon.

Chimayev has won four wins and has not suffered a single defeat in the UFC. He played three fights in 66 days, which was an organization record.

Magni has been in the UFC since 2013. The American has 25 wins and eight defeats.
