Shape: Dehydration causes nausea during and after exercise
Shape magazine experts explained the reasons for nausea after exercise. This is reported on the publication’s website.
Experts said that the feeling of nausea can occur due to dehydration or, on the contrary, due to drinking too much liquid and food before exercise. It is noted that a large meal should take place no later than one to three hours before training.
In addition, the body’s reaction to increased physical activity, as well as due to exercise in the heat or at high altitude, can manifest itself through malaise. Experts added that the deterioration of well-being can be caused by taking dietary supplements and medications, or due to an imbalance in physical and mental health (stress, depression, migraines, etc.).
Experts also revealed how to combat the feeling of nausea after exercise. They recommended consuming less caffeine, keeping the room cool throughout the workout, reducing the intensity of exercise if necessary, and avoiding large meals and supplements shortly before exercise.
Earlier, doctor Yana Syrovatskaya revealed the dangers of a vacuum. The specialist said that this popular exercise for a flat stomach can only be performed on an empty stomach or two to three hours after eating.
