Former head coach of Spartak Carrera expressed his readiness to return to the club
Former head coach of Spartak, Italian Massimo Carrera, spoke about the possibility of returning to the Moscow club. His words are reported by RB Sport.
Carrera expressed his readiness to return to Russia. “What question will I ask if tomorrow they call from Spartak with a job offer? No questions asked. I would just say yes,” he said.
Earlier, Carrera announced his desire to lead the Russian national team. “Why not? It would be interesting for me to coach your team,” the specialist said.
Carrera has led Spartak since 2016. He led the team to gold medals at the Russian Championship in his debut season, 2016/2017. In the fall of 2018, Carrera left the club. Before this, the Italian had a conflict with the team leaders – in particular, with captain Denis Glushakov.
