He September 6Wednesday, the eleventh stage of the Vuelta a España 2023. The cyclists will face a flat stage except in the final section, since the day will end in a 1st category stop. The squad will leave lerma and will end in the natural park of the Black Lagoonin Vinuesa, after having completed a tour of 163.5 kilometers.
In this way, the runners will face a practically flat route during the first 145 kilometers. From there, the road will tend to get steeper until it reaches the last seven kilometres, where the runners will have to overcome the pass of the Black Lagoonof 1st category, with sections of up to 14% inclination.
If any group is encouraged to form a breakaway, they could fight to win the stage, without forgetting to save strength for the final stretch. In turn, if any of the leaders finds the day difficult, they could lose very important time.
