Samuel Fernández becomes professionals with Caja Rural and signs until 2025

As the Caja Rural has recalled, the Asturian cyclist, despite his short career as an under-23, won in 2022 at the top of Gavarnie, in the Ronde de l’Isard, and had already premiered his record in the category by winning in Aretxabaleta. His victories in the 2023 season have come in Beasain, twice, in Ereño and in Zegama, the latter last Saturday.
Although he defends himself in all terrains, “he stands out for his good sense of smell in solving races and for his remarkable level of climbing, both in long ports and in explosive arrivals, in which he has shown a powerful finish”, has pointed out the Caja Rural on Fernandez.
