The Belgians also appear on that list of nominees Jasper Phillipsen and Wout van Aertthe British Adam yachts and thomas pidcockthe slovenian Tadej Pogacar and the danish Mads Pederson.
Evenepoel, winner in 2022, will defend his crown against strong rivals such as Vingegaard (winner of the Tour de France in 2023), Van der Poel (world road champion in 2023 and winner of Paris-Roubaix that year) and Roglic (Giro de 2023).
