Khudaiberdieva explained the disappearance of the figure skater Gorbacheva by the lack of support
Russian ice dancing champion Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva explained the disappearance of 16-year-old figure skater Alina Gorbacheva. The athlete spoke on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).
“Believe me, an athlete, when there is no support and understanding nearby, no friends with whom to share, accustomed to relying only on himself, he begins to solve problems on his own. And this sometimes leads to what happened,” Khudaiberdiva said.
She called for refraining from condemning Gorbacheva for not knowing what to do and who to turn to. “Let her parents and other adults who are responsible for the girl think about it,” the skater added.
Gorbachev was found on the evening of August 29 in the cinema of one of the shopping centers in Moscow. It was noted that nothing threatens her life and health, she was taken to the Investigative Committee for investigative actions.
On the evening of August 28, Gorbacheva, the reigning champion of Russia in women’s singles among juniors, left the rink, went to the park and did not return home. It was clarified that before that she had a quarrel with coach Sofia Fedchenko, with whom she lived.
