Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk turned to Briton Tyson Fury ahead of his fight with Daniel Dubois. His words leads TalkSPORT.

Usyk’s fight with Dubois will take place later on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland. At stake will be the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) heavyweight championship belts owned by the Ukrainian.

In July, Usyk said that Fury was afraid to fight him. Prior to this, it was reported that the Briton refused to fight the Ukrainian at the super tournament in Saudi Arabia, scheduled for December 2023. Initially, the boxers were supposed to meet on April 29, but failed to agree on the distribution of fees.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses in his career. He owns the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
