Trainer Akhmetova offered to do the upward facing dog pose against back pain
Fitness trainer Nadezhda Akhmetova advised exercises against back pain. Her words leads the “Championship”.
First, the specialist suggested doing the dog pose with the muzzle up. Starting position – lying on your stomach, lift your upper body up with support on your palms. Shoulders should be lowered, point your chin forward, and lift your knees. After holding for ten seconds, move into the down-facing dog pose: with the same support, lift the pelvis up, straighten your arms, your knees can be slightly bent. Also hold for ten seconds. Then alternate postures at a more dynamic pace.
The next exercise that Akhmetova recommended to do is a triangle. Starting position – legs 90 centimeters wide, left leg, slightly bent at the knee, looks to the side. Lower your left hand to your left leg, and raise your right hand up, also look up. As you exhale, gradually straighten your left leg, lingering for a few seconds. Then repeat with the other leg.
Further, also standing with legs wide apart, the coach suggested doing forward bends. Clasp your hands in the lock behind you, and when tilting, lift them up, winding them behind your head. Hold this position for ten seconds.
Previously, yoga instructor Puravi Josh also outlined poses for relieving back pain. In addition to the triangle and the dog facing down, he recommended doing the pose of a child, a cat, and also a sphinx.
