Mexico beats Honduras and leads Concacaf Qualifiers; USA loses to Panama

This Sunday, the Mexico won Honduras, by 3-0, by the 5th round of Concacaf Qualifiers for the Cup. Sebastian Cléo opened the scoring at Estádio Azteca 18 minutes into the 1st time. In the second stage, Rogelio Funes Mori, at 31, and Hirving Lozano, at 41, increased the score.

With the victory, the Mexican national team took the lead in the third phase of the qualifying round and got 11 points. The Hondurans, who have not yet won, have three points and occupy the 7th position.

Mexico returns to the field on Wednesday, at 23:05 (GMT), when they face El Salvador away from home. Honduras, in turn, receives the flashlight Jamaica at 9:05 pm.

United States loses to Panama

Also this Sunday, the USA were defeated by the Panama, away from home, 1-0. Nine minutes into the second half, Aníbal Godoy scored the only goal at Estádio Rommel Fernandez

With the setback, the Americans are in 2nd place and add eight points. The Panamanians are close behind, with the same score.

The US returns to the field on Wednesday at 20:00 (GMT), when they receive Costa Rica. Panama will face the Canadian team, away from home, at 20:30.
