Lokomotiv said that the disqualification was a lesson for footballer Dziuba
Lokomotiv Moscow communications director Sergei Deryabkin reacted to the disqualification of striker Artem Dzyuba for insulting a journalist. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Deryabkin said that the conflict with the correspondent was a lesson for the football player, and called the situation unpleasant for Dziuba. “The main message of the phrase is that it is well-established. Sometimes a person can say this when he loses his temper, ”explained a representative of the railway workers.
Earlier, on August 16, the control and disciplinary committee of the Russian Football Union suspended Dziuba for two matches conditionally. In addition, he was ordered to pay a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
On August 12, Lokomotiv played a draw with Krylya Sovetov with a score of 1:1. Dziuba did not participate in the match due to injury. After the game, the correspondent asked the athlete to evaluate the forecast, according to which he will score no more than two goals before the end of the year. In response, the footballer insulted the journalist, promising to “put his phone in one place.”
