O Manchester Unitedtogether with the supplier adidas, has released its new third kit for the 2023/24 season, celebrating the team’s famous identity: “Red Devil”. There’s been an aesthetic reimagining of the past for today, with an edgy, minimalist design that puts this club icon in the spotlight.
Great moments in the history of the English club were used as inspiration and references. In the process of creating the pieces, the stylists analyzed the team’s archives and sought to ‘redesign’ the shirt used in the 1909 victory, when the team was champion of England.
As with the then kit, the key design element is a cloud-white background to further highlight the team’s mascot symbol. The design is complemented by the famous 3-Stripes of the adidas in white on the sleeves, in addition to the crew neck collar in red.

It is the first time that the ‘Red Devils’ identity has appeared exclusively on a kit and to accompany the launch, adidas has collaborated with Manchester United to produce a short film starring Roy Keane. As the most successful captain and one of the most famous players on the team, the former player is the perfect example of what it means to be a ‘Red Devil’ for a United fan.
The version of the kit for fans includes AEROREADY technology, which uses anti-perspirant or absorbent materials to keep the body feeling dry. Plus, both are made from 100% recycled materials, representing just one of adidas’ solutions to help eliminate plastic waste.
