The visiting team started by surprising Torino. Despite the Turin team having created chances, Feralpisalo opened the scoring. Guerra played for Davide di Molfetta, who hit a beautiful shot and made it 1-0 for the team with 17 minutes of the first half.
However, Torino’s equalizer came quickly. At 22 minutes, Vojvoda received from Radonjic and left the scoreboard equal. From then on, the team regained full control of the match and could have turned the match around, but the score ended in 1-1 in the first half.
In the second stage, Feralpisalo’s goal was to hold the tie to, who knows, take the decision to penalties. However, with 40 minutes, Ilic received assistance from Vojvoda, scored Torino’s second goal and ended the visiting team’s dreams of advancing to the next phase.
Torino makes its official debut in the Italian Championship only next Monday (21), against Cagliari, at home. The confrontation is scheduled for 1:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Olympic Stadium in Turin.
Feralpisalo, in turn, faces the traditional Parma in the Serie B debut of the Italian tournament next Sunday (20). The ball will roll from 3:30 pm at the Ennio Tardini Stadium in Parma.
