Pidcock is proclaimed world cross-country champion of Mountain Bike and Van der Poel is left without a triplet
The British Thomas Pidcockse was proclaimed this Saturday in Glasgow (United Kingdom) for the first time cross country mountain bike world champion.
The Leeds Cyclist 24 years old and world cyclocross champion in 2022won alone after taking down his main rivals at the end of the sixth lap.
Thus, he surpassed the New Zealander by 19 seconds samuel gaze, who had won gold in the short test of the ‘super world’ in Glasgow; and in 34 about the Swiss Nino Schurter, ten times world champion and defending champion and this time he had to settle for bronze.
