Spanish coach Luis Enrique spoke at a press conference ahead of the debut of the Paris Saint Germain already Ligue 1 about the “Mbappé Case” that haunts the backstage of the club. The French playmaker does not intend to renew with PSG in 2024, but does not want to be negotiated in this transfer window, something that the direction wants.

Luis Enrique was emphatic when he said that he wants the situation to be resolved in the best way for the team, but he stressed that nobody is bigger than PSG.
“It is an issue that has been resolved in the past in a positive way before I was here. I hope that, as happened in the past, the team and the athlete reach an agreement. This is what I would like to do. Also, remember of the president’s words when he said that the club is above the players and managers and I agree 100% with that”, he said.
PSG debuts in the French Championship against Lorient at home this Saturday, at 4 pm (Brasília time). The expectation is that Mbappé will not start this game, since he is training separately from the other teammates.
