With that, Courtois should stay out of the lawns for the next few months until he fully recovers from his injury.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are already looking for a new replacement for the Belgian. Currently, the Spaniards have Andriy Lunin for the position, but the Ukrainian did not convince in the opportunities given by coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Courtois arrived at Real in 2018 and gradually became one of the mainstays of the team. The goalkeeper was one of the highlights of the Madrid team in the 2021/22 Champions League title campaign, being elected the best player in the final, in the 1-0 against Liverpool.
