Eukene Larrarte finishes 16th in the Omnium test of the Cycling World Championships

Eukene Larrarte was 16th in the Omnium track test at the 2023 Cycling World Championships that are being held in Glasgow (Scotland). the american Jennifer Valente was proclaimed world championthe danish Amalie Dideriksen (second) took the silver medal and the Belgian Lotte Kopecky (third) with the bronze.
The Basque cyclist began the Omnium test with the scratch modality in which she was 22nd and added a point. After, in the modality of time the tolosarra was sixth and added 30 points, which made him climb to 15th place in the general classification.
After the momentum he gained in the second test of the Omnium, Eukene faced the elimination modality; that of Gipuzkoa was 15th and added 12 points.
Larrarte added 43 points in the first three modalitieshe faced the last one, the points one, in 15th position overall. However, could not rate, lost a position and in the end he had to settle for 16th place.
