The cyclist Italian Lorenzo Milesi ha cattle this wednesday the test individual time trial, in sub-23 categoryinside of the cycling world championship which is being disputed in Glasgow (Scotland)and it has been proclaimed, in this way, World Champion in that discipline and in the aforementioned category. Milesi, 21 years old and rider of the DSM team, has thus been awarded the gold medal in the race, and has sheathed the rainbow leotardwhile the Belgian Alec Segaert has been second and has obtained the silver medaland Australian Hamish McKenzie, thirdhas taken the bronze. The cyclist Spanish Raul Garcia Legwho belongs to the team Kern Pharmahas been room in the test, and it has stayed three seconds off the podium.

The time trial was carried out on a 36.2 kilometer track, starting and finishing in Stirling. Milesi has completed the course in 43 minutes and 46 hundredths, at 50.503 kilometers per hour, 11 seconds and 27 hundredths faster than Segaert; McKenzie, for his part, needed 50 seconds and 79 hundredths more than the new champion.

The Italian cyclist, in this way, takes over from the Norwegian Soren Waerenskjold, who achieved victory in 2022, in Wollongong (Australia).
