In preliminary action on the undercard, Jonathan Sepúlveda (9-3) of Isabela, Puerto Rico will fight Adrián García (6-1) of Miami, Florida at a weight of 130 pounds.
The Slick Rick Zelada (1-0) of Los Angeles will face Gustavo Volcano Navarrete (0-1), from Quito, Ecuador, but established in Chandler, Arizona, at bantamweight (135 pounds).
