“Michael Carrick was a classy player and he can become a great coach. Nothing is impossible for this guy. Personally, I’m proud to have played with him alongside me and also to have him on the bench as our coach,” he wrote .
Carrick led the team in three matches: a victory against Villarreal (2 x 0) in the Champions League, a draw against Chelsea (1 x 1) in the Premier League and a triumph over Arsenal (3 to 2), also in the tournament national.
Ralf Rangnick has already granted his first interview and will debut for the team on Sunday, at 11 am (GMT), against Crystal Palace, in the Premier League.
