The Champions League match between Bayern and Barcelona will be closed

This Friday, the decision to play the game between Bayern and Barcelona, ​​for the Champions League, with closed gates, in Germany, was made official. The measure was adopted due to the exponential increase in covid cases in Bavaria, the state where the city of Munich is located.

Bayern is already in first place in the group and, consequently, the classification for the round of 16 is guaranteed. Barcelona, ​​however, need a victory to advance without depending on the result of the match between Benfica and Dynamo Kiev.

In the table, Barcelona appears in second place, with seven points, while Benfica, led by Jorge Jesus, ex-Flemish, is right behind, with five.

The game between Bayern and Barcelona will be next Wednesday, at 5 pm (GMT), at the Allianz Arena. Before, Xavi’s team host Real Betis on Saturday, for the Spanish Championship. Julian Nagelsmann’s team visits Borussia Dortmund, on the same day, for the Bundesliga.
