Eriksen returns to training after suffering cardiac arrest and spending 173 days away

After 173 days away due to a cardiac arrest suffered in the game between Denmark and Finland, for the 2021 Euro Cup, midfielder Christian Eriksen on Thursday returned to the field and trained at the CT of the Danish club Odense, alongside a personal.

During the activities, the midfielder did cardiovascular exercises and exercised with the ball.

“Eriksen approached us and is now training alone. It is natural for him, as he played here in his youth and lives around the corner from CT. We are very happy to be able to offer the training structures”, commented a club representative to the newspaper Mark.

So far, Eriksen has not been released to play again with Inter Milan due to a defibrillator implanted in his chest. The device is prohibited in the Italian Championship and therefore prevents you from playing for your team.

There is still no way to predict whether Eriksen will return to playing professionally, but the activities carried out on Thursday may relieve fans after what happened in the last edition of the Euro Cup.
