Stanislav Cherchesov said that he has not yet had any talk about working in a new club
Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov revealed the details of his dismissal from the Hungarian Ferencváros. His words are quoted by Izvestia.
The specialist said that his contract was terminated at the initiative of the club. “After the final whistle, I went up to the box to the president and his entourage. There it was announced that they had decided to part with me. I took this information to heart and left the box. That’s all,” he added, noting that he and his coaching staff were always comfortable in Budapest, as they felt good about themselves there.

Cherchesov also spoke about plans for the future. “There have been no talks about work yet, and my immediate plans are to finish things in Budapest,” he explained. The specialist added that now he and the coaching staff will take stock of the work at Ferencváros, and he wants to fill the rest of the pause with communication with family and friends.
Ferencváros President Gabor Kubatov announced Cherchesov’s dismissal on July 19. The resignation came amid the club’s failure to qualify for the second round of Champions League qualification.
Cherchesov took charge of Ferencvaros in December 2021. Under his leadership, the team twice became the champion of Hungary, and also won the Hungarian Cup.
