O Paris Saint Germain authorized the French striker Kylian Mbappé to negotiate a transfer to Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, who offered the Parisian team 300 million euros (R$ 1.5 billion) for the player’s transfer, informed a source close to the case.
PSG received the proposal and said “yes” to a request from Al-Hilal to negotiate a contract with Mbappé, although the striker has never expressed a desire to play in Saudi football.
According to the same source, several European teams have shown interest in signing the French star since last Friday, when he did not embark with the PSG delegation for an Asian tour.
This decision paves the way, as the Parisian club had signaled, for the departure of Mbappé, who has a contract until June 2024 and has already announced that he will not renew it.
Chelsea, Manchester UnitedTottenham, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid European clubs are interested in the player, said the same source.
“Several clubs show creativity and proposed formulas that include ‘top’ players and an economic value for the transfer. This opens the market for more clubs”, he added.
Al-Hilal’s proposal is purely financial.
